Level 1: Highland Fling

Kills: 25 Items: 39, Plus 1st Thistle Stone, 2nd Thistle Stone, Crowbar, Shotgun, Harpoon Gun, Uzi's and MP5 Secrets: 3

Starting inventory: small and large medi-packs, 2 flares and pistols (unlimited ammo).

Grab onto the vine-covered wall with the bars and climb to the top. Safely drop down on the other side. Pull the wooden crate until it is under the vine-covered ceiling above. Monkey swing across the pool and drop onto the small, triangular ledge pick up the small med-pack then slide down into the pool. Swim through the underwater opening to the lake. The current will sweep Lara downstream. After a few moments she'll be able to swim to the surface. Swim between the stone bridge columns. Ahead on the left is a small, wooden dock. Pick up the harpoons on the bottom of the lake underneath the dock. Swim past the dock, in the opposite direction from which you came. Go through the gap between the rocks to the next area of open water. Off to the right near a wooden breakwater, you'll find more harpoons on the lake bottom. Swim across the lake to the other side. You can climb out of the water between the two stone support pillars and pick up 2 bunches of harpoons-one behind each support. Swim back to the wooden dock and climb out of the water there. Walk up the path past the signs. Go through the opening in the stone wall on the left. Before going up the ramp to the next open area, crawl into the low opening to the left of the ramp. Just inside, in an alcove on the right, you'll find a box of flares. Rather than continuing into the cave, come back out and go up the ramp. Allow the guard to run across to the Iron Gate and open it, letting in a dog. While he's doing this, run to the right (where the guard came from) and climb into the doorway. Here you'll be safe from the dog and can focus on killing the guard first. After the fight, go around and pick up all the items: In the area behind the gate, you'll find a large med-pack. The guard drops flares, and there's a box of shotgun shells on the ground at the top of the ramp. From the open area with wooden crates, go through the stone doorway. The only exit from the next room is the opening on the right leading to a ledge above the water. Step off onto the ledge and follow it to the end. The camera view will shift to show another guard on the bridge ahead. Take a diagonal standing jump from the end of the ledge to the bridge and kill him. The guard drops shotgun shells, and there's another box of shells on the wide left edge of the bridge. If you look carefully, you can spot the Loch Ness monster off in the distance. From the spot where the second box of shells was, walk out onto the ledge. Use the Look button and angle Lara's view down a little and you'll see Nessie swimming from left to right near the tower with the flag on top. Now continue along the bridge toward the ruins. When you pass the two little buildings and approach the dog statues, a crow flies in from above. Kill it and approach the steam vent between the two gates. After the flock of bats flies out, get the shotgun shells inside the vent. Go to the right side of the bridge (the side that overlooks the dock). Take a running jump from the jutting ledge to the triangular flat spot on the green covered rocks below. Take a standing jump from the top corner of the triangle to the rocks ahead. Lara will slide down to another flat spot near the water. Take a standing jump from the inner corner of that triangle up the slope to the flat spot above. Hold down the forward key for just a moment to keep Lara from sliding back down the slope. From the top of the rocks you should see the rocket off to the right. Take a standing jump from the edge of the rocks down to the ledge and pick up the rocket. Return to the bridge. Again go to the right side of the bridge (the side that overlooks the dock). Walk out onto the ledge next to the dog statue on the right and turn to face the vine-covered corner of the building. Take a standing jump from the edge of the ledge to grab the vines. This should trigger the appearance of another bird. Press Jump to back flip onto the ledge where you started and kill the crow before continuing. Repeat the jump and climb up the vines. When you near the top, back flip onto the ledge behind. Up on the roof you'll encounter both a crow and a guard lurking behind the wall. Take care of them. Then look for the raised opening with vine-covered rocks below. Climb up to the opening to find secret #1, The Shotgun and 2 boxes of shells. Go to the outside corner of the secret room that overlooks the lake. Turn around so the roof area with the grating is on Lara's right. Slide down the slope backwards and grab the edge. Now climb all the way down the side of the building to the rocks below. Cross the rocks to the wooden breakwater. As you explore the area below the bridge, another crow will emerge. Slide down onto the breakwater and pick up a small med-pack. Take a standing jump back up the rocks to the flat area on top. Walk across it to the side facing the open water and the tower with the flag. Set up a running jump from the flat, triangular area a few steps from the castle wall toward the area beyond the corner of the castle. When you take the running jump, you'll probably need to press the Right arrow key in the air to land on the flat spot beyond the corner. Otherwise, Lara will slide down into the water. Pick up the Harpoon Gun and some harpoons. Now for the Uzi's. This next bit is extremely tricky and you'll probably need to try several times. First look across the water for the location of the guns. Slide into the water and swim against the current toward the flat area across the lake. When you reach that spot, Lara will magically pop out onto the shore a few steps from the Uzi's. Jump into the lake, ride the current back to calm water, swim to the dock and return to the bridge as you did before. Now you can continue exploring the level. At the end of the bridge near the steam vent and the two dog statues are two gates. Kill the guard in the area to the right of the gates before jumping across the gap into that area. Continue forward and to the right. Jump into the pool and get 2 bunches of harpoons and the Crowbar from the bottom. Climb out of the water and go up the low steps to the right of the pool. Here you'll find the switch that opens the right gate near the steam vent. After pulling the switch, you have only a short time to get through the gate before it closes. So pull the switch, press Look to get Lara's perspective back, turn left and take a standing jump over the sloped wall next to the switch. Run toward the bridge, jumping the gap. Then turn right and run through the open gate. Go down the stairs into this room and kill the guard who runs to hide behind the boxes. Pick up the small med-pack he drops. Enter the next room with the dog statue. There's another guard in here. Allow him to open the gate for you, and then quickly run through the gate. Roll and finish off the guard. The gate closes after a moment. Use the Crowbar to pry open the wooden door. Inside is secret #2, the MP5 Assault Rifle and 2 sets of clips. Exit through the crawlspace to the left of the gate. As you crawl through, the gate here opens and one of the burners goes out so you can crawl out safely. Go through the dog statue room into the graveyard. As you explore, another guard emerges. He drops shotgun shells when you kill him. There are openings off the graveyard to the left and right. First, go to the right. Another guard lurks inside on the right. Kill him and pick up shotgun shells on the steps and a small med-pack in the alcove at the left side of the steps. The pool of mud is too deep to wade through here, so return through the graveyard and out the opposite side. Go through the open area to the right until you come to a ramp leading down to the mud pool. Take a standing jump to the top of the square stone pillar to the right of the ramp. Turn right. Take a running jump to the right side of the next pillar with the purple flowers growing on it. Avoid the left side, which is too slippery to stand on. A crow flies in and tries to knock Lara off the pillar, so kill it quickly. From here, take a standing jump down to the moss-covered block ahead. From the moss-covered block, jump to the slope on the left and slide down onto the small, triangular ledge near the mud pool. Turn right to face the stele and look for the coat of arms painted on the wall beyond it. Wade through the mud, aiming for the opening below the coat of arms. Lara's head will sink below the mud, but if you keep going, she'll surface before she runs out of air. Go through the low opening into the dark, mud-filled room beyond. Walk out of the mud and crawl through another low opening at the far left. When the passageway comes to a T, go to the left. There are various useful items on top of the crates. When you take the large med-pack the 2 dog statues come alive. Pick up MP5 clips, shotgun shells and flares as well. Return to the crawlspace and this time take the other branch, ahead and to the left. After a short crawl Lara will be able to stand again. But you'll need to go through another crawlspace to emerge on a ledge above the mud pool. Climb the ledges and pick up a small med-pack. Then climb up one more ledge to get the 1st Thistle Stone. Turn around, jump to grab the vine-covered ceiling and traverse out and to the left across the mud pool. When you reach the far end of the pool, drop onto a ramp and slide down into the hallway below. Slide down another short ramp to land near the pool where you found the crowbar. Return to the steam vent and gates at the end of the bridge. Go to the left side of the bridge, beyond the gates and steam vent to the jutting ledge, from which you can see the tower with the flag on top out in the lake. You can jump from the ledge to grab the vine-covered wall of the castle, and then climb into to the opening. Don't fall off when the bats fly out. Inside this small room, you'll find a closed gate and a switch. The switch opens a gate elsewhere-the one to the left of the steam vent on the bridge. This gate is timed to close after a few moments, so you need to hurry to get there. Pull the switch, press Look to get Lara's perspective back, roll and run/slide down to the opening on the left. Slide down the left side of the ramp and jump the gap to land on the bridge. Run forward and to the left through the open gate. Kill the guard inside and exit this room through the door in the far left corner (under the triangular barred window). To the right is a wide gate with two snake-shaped receptacles. This is the level exit. You'll return here when you have both thistle stones. For now, go through the doorway on the left. Walk up the winding path. The dog statue comes to life as you approach. Kill the dog and continue up the steps. At the top of the path, slide down the steep slope. Continue to the next open area. Just inside this area there's a green slope on the left. Don't jump over it; there's a deep pit on the other side. Instead, continue up the path to approach the pit from the side. If you draw weapons and walk slowly through the narrow hallway toward the pit, you will probably be able to kill the guard on the ledge above before climbing up. Before crossing the pit, pick up the flares on the far side. Look through the bars here; you should be able to catch another glimpse of Nessie swimming past the tower with the flag. Return to the edge of the pit, jump up to grab the vines on the ceiling and traverse across the pit to the small alcove. A crow begins flapping around above, but you may not be able to kill it right away. Crawl through the low opening and turn the right. Stay close to the right wall and quickly crawl into the next low alcove on the right to avoid a deadly rolling boulder. When it passes, crawl back out and continue along the hallway to a low ledge with another crawlspace. Go through here to emerge on a ledge above the pit. Now you'll need to shoot the bird and the guard if you didn't earlier. Climb the steps and get the small med-pack in the alcove on the left. Walk out onto the ledge at the top of the steps. Turn right and take a running jump to grab the next ledge. Keep your footing when the bats fly out. Re-enter the building here and turn to face the opening where you just came in. Jump to grab the vines on the wall above the right side of the opening. Climb not quite to the top, and then press Jump to back flip onto the ledge behind. Take a running jump to the jutting stone ledge in the middle of the room. Shoot the crow that flies out of the dark alcove. Then go into this alcove for some MP5 clips. Walk back out to the end of the ledge. Turn right and take a running jump to the alcove with the small med-pack. Get it and take another running jump back to the middle ledge. Walk to the peak of the ledge, turn to face the alcove where you got the MP5 clips and jump straight up to grab the edge of the square opening above. Pull up onto the roof. Cross to the steam vent; kill the crow that appears, and then take the 2nd Thistle Stone. Safety drop back down through the square opening onto the ledge. Safety drop from the end of the jutting stone ledge nearest the wall to the ledge below. Jump to the walkway spanning the middle of the room. Then turn so the stairs are behind Lara and she's facing the opening in the left corner. Take a running jump from the walkway into this alcove. Be sure to angle the jump so Lara lands on the right side of the alcove and doesn't bang her head on the overhang. Pick up the MP5 clips in the alcove. Position Lara at the edge of the opening angled a little to the left. Take a standing jump toward the dark opening in the left wall, pressing Action while Lara is in the air to lower her arc a little. If all goes well, she'll jump through the opening, slide down a short ramp and land on a square pillar above a pool of mud. Drop down off the back side of the pillar to get a large med-pack. Then jump around the right side of the pillar (nearer the big mud pool) to land on the rocks beyond. Enter the cave beyond the pillar and the chimes will ring for secret #3. Splash through the shallow mud until you come to a pool of clear water. Swim down on the right side to get some flares from the bottom. Surface and walk out of the water on the far side of the pool. Keep to the right here, so Lara doesn't' get singed when Nessie pops out of the crevice breathing fire. Wait for Nessie to take a breath, and then jump into the small square pool under her neck. Swim down, following the underwater passage through several twists and turns. Eventually you'll come to a pool where you can surface. There is an opening behind Nessie's left front flipper. Swim through to emerge in a control room. Kill the guard at the controls and pick up a large med-pack and grenades on the edges of the opening to the pool. Use the switch on the right side of the cockpit to open the gate on the other side. Exit this way, killing a red-eyed dog about halfway up the stairs. Continue to the top. Climb the ledges and slide down to the stepped path. Follow the path down to the hallway with the exit. Place the two Thistle Stones in the snake receptacles to open the gate. Pick up the flares on the other side of the gate and slide down the ramp to end the level.


Level 2: Willard's Lair

Kills: 19 Items: 37, Plus Crowbar, Cairn Key Secrets: 3

Slide down the ramp, pick up the flares and quickly jump forward through the doorway to avoid the encroaching spiked wall. Slide down the ramp, wait for the rolling boulder to approach then jump so it rolls underneath Lara. Pick up the crowbar on the slope. First go up the ramp and through the crawlspace to a subterranean pool. Swim around the bottom of the pool to pick up 3 bunches of harpoons. Then crawl back through to the boulder ramp. Go to the cave at the bottom of the ramp. There are spikes below the doorway and a green platform in the centre. Take a running jump to the top left of the green platform, which is flat. From there, jump to the grey stone ledge on the far side of the cave. From here, you can shoot the red-eyed dog down below before dropping down. Crawl through the exit to avoid the spike traps that spring from the walls. There's one right before the small med-pack and another just past the next corner. This next physics-defying room contains a number of boulders that roll when you pass in front of them, flattening Lara if she's in the way. The diagram at right shows the boulders in their starting positions and the path to avoid the boulders and get all the goodies. The boulders on the stairs don't roll yet, so walk down to the bottom right side of the stairs just into the room. Turn left and run forward then to the right, stopping behind the square pillar. This path marked A in the diagram, triggers the first, second and third boulders. Walk around the square pillar (clockwise) to the left side. Position Lara at the back left corner of the pillar facing the Desert Eagle clips (DE). Hop forward on a diagonal then immediately hop back, path marked B to avoid the fourth boulder, which rolls from the back corner over the clips. Pick up the clips. From where the clips were, run forward to the back corner (path C). The fifth boulder rolls toward you, stopping by the wall near where the Desert Eagle clips were. Now you can pick up the rocket (R). Stand where the rocket was, facing the exit. Run forward, and turn sharply to the right to stop behind the square pillar where you were before (path D). When you do this, the sixth boulder rolls from the exit toward the opposite wall. From here, run toward the wall just to the right of the exit. Passing over the square to the left of the one with the shotgun shells (SS). If you run this way, you'll trigger the seventh boulder (along the left wall), as well as the eighth and ninth (on the stairs). Now you can safely pick up the shotgun shells. Finally, pick up the grenades (G) in the alcove at the left side of the exit. Hop forward into the hallway to trigger the last boulder and immediately hop back into the alcove to avoid it (Path F). Now you can continue along the hallway to the end. You can't get the large med-pack behind the bars yet. Slide down the ramp into the room below. The spiked wall at the other end begins to move toward you. Immediately climb up to the room above on the right. The spiked wall at the far end of this room also begins moving toward you. Pick up the MP5 clips. Then climb up to the third tier, which also has an encroaching spiked wall. Quickly run forward to the switch on the right side of the gate. Pull the switch, which opens a different gate at the right end of this room. Run through it quickly before the spikes arrive. Turn right and go to the end of the hall, drop into the pit and get the large med-pack. Climb back out and go to the top of the hallway. You'll pass two ramps on the left. Slide down the third ramp to land on a wooden walkway. Dramatic music is your cue to stand still. Take care of the 4 birds that fly in from above. (You may only be able to get two of them right away. You'll hear the others crowing until you meet them up above.) Don't jump around the ledge. It's a long way down to the toxic waste pool below, and the middle sections are booby trapped with falling rubble from above. Take a standing jump from the wooden walkway to grab the white ledge and pull up. Then pick up the flares in the corner. Walk to the corner of the white ledge that faces the barred doorway and hop down here. Then run into the doorway to get the small med-pack. Turn around and walk straight out of the barred doorway. Then take a diagonal standing jump to the clear part of the wooden walkway ahead and to the right. Again jump to grab the white corner ledge. Pull up and from there, climb up to the green ledge above. Follow this ledge around to the right. When you climb over the block, you see a wide-angle view of this area, including the spiked room beyond the bars and a switch at the top of the steps above. Draw a weapon, and then take a running jump to the right side of the green opening leading into a room with grates on the floor. Make sure to aim for the right side or Lara will bump her head and fall all the way down to the bottom of the room. Shoot the red-eyed dog, making sure you don't go further into the room with the grate on the floor. It's also trapped with deadly falling rubble. Walk around the left corner of the room, close to the wall. Climb the vine-covered wall to the ledge above on the left. Walk across the moss-covered floor toward the dog statue, minding the gaps in the floor and avoiding any remaining rubble. Walk (or jump) behind the dog statue to the left side of the opening. You're now overlooking the room with the wooden walkway. Take a standing jump to the block steps on the left, climb to the top and throw the switch. Return down the steps, jump to the ledge near the dog statue and return to the doorway in the top of the vine-covered wall. Climb into this doorway. Turn left. Take a running jump to the next ledge. Climb onto the block ahead. Position Lara with her back against the left wall, angled a bit to face the right wall covered with vines. Take a standing jump to grab the vines and climb down nearly to the bottom. Just above the spikes, climb as far as you can to either side and let go to drop just outside the spikes. Walk through the spikes to the right end of the hallway. Pick up the flares and return to the opposite end of the hallway. Climb onto the low wall with the words carved on it. Stand at the right side of the ledge and run off the edge. As soon as you do, the spiked ceiling begins to descend. Quickly pick up the small med-pack, run to the left wall and climb out. Be sure to move a few steps away from the edge after climbing out, since the spikes can still cause damage if Lara is too close. The next pit has spikes on the ledges lining both sides. If you pulled the switch in the room above, the spikes in this area will have descended low enough so you can take a running jump across the middle of the room to the opposite ledge. The next pit contains shotgun shells. The drill is the same: Run off the right side of the ledge, grab the shells and quickly run to the left ledge, climb out of the pit and step forward before the spiked ceiling descends. The last pit has a barred ledge with 2 boxes of shotgun shells on the left side. Take a standing jump pressing Action to land on the ledge with the shells. The spiked ceiling will descend as you pick up the shells. Safety drop from the ledge through the spikes, and immediately crouch to prevent Lara from taking further damage. Crawl out to the tiered rooms with spiked walls. Crawl backwards down to the second tier. Pick up the 2 bunches of harpoons at the far end of the room. Pull the switch near the harpoons to open a gate up on the top tier. Crawl backwards down to the lowest tier. Pick up secret #1, MP5 clips and a large med-pack. Climb back up to the top tier and go through the gate you just opened with the switch. Repeat the climb up through the very tall room with ledges and rubble to the door at the top of the vine-covered wall. Climb into the doorway. Turn left and take a running jump the next ledge. Climb onto the block ahead. This is where you were earlier when you grabbed the vines and climbed down. This time stand at the edge of the block facing the ledge you just jumped from and jump straight up to grab the ledge above. From here, jump to the next ledge and climb up onto the block ahead to the doorway. Before entering the next area, turn around and take a running jump to grab the highest ledge in this hallway. Pull up and get some Uzi clips. Then jump back down to the ledge near the door. Go through the hallway to a walkway overlooking Dr. Willard's library. There are 3 guards on duty. You can probably shoot two of them from above. The third will come up the stairs to get Lara. When you've killed all three, go through the door at the opposite end of the walkway. Climb onto the windowsill at the top of the stairs. Go through the crawlspace on the left and climb up several ledges to get a small med-pack. Return to the stairs and descend to the library. Pick up flares and a small med-pack dropped by two of the guards. Take the CAIRN KEY from the low, rectangular table with the maps and sketches on it. Take note of the copy of Tombraider 2 on EVERY desk and the diagrams on the blackboards showing the steles of varying heights and the word "KEY". Now go to the corner with the wooden crates. Find the movable crate in the wall next to the stack of smaller crates and pull it once. Go around to the left side of it and pull it again. Go back around the other side and use the crowbar to break open the wooden door. Enter the room behind and pull the large wooden crate on the floor once to get the MP5 clips underneath. Climb onto the row of smaller boxes against the right wall and pull the corner crate out twice. Go around to the other side of it and push it once into the corner. Pick up more MP5 clips from where the crate was. Pull the crate in the corner once. Then go around to the left side, find the fourth crate, which is flush with the wooden wall, and push it into the corner (onto the spot where the third crate had been). This is secret #2, a large med-pack. Go back out to the library and approach the bookshelf area. This area involves three secret doors disguised as bookshelves, which open and close when Lara stands in certain spots. Enter the bookshelf area and walk into the alcove on the right. Stepping here opens the secret door on the left. Turn around and walk out of the alcove, keeping the freestanding bookcase on Lara's right and the outer shelves on Lara's left. Walk through the open secret panel just until you hear the other panel open. Turn around and retrace your steps toward the alcove, but instead of entering the alcove, turn left and go through the second secret door. Pick up 2 boxes of shotgun shells in the room behind the secret panel. When you stand near the second box of shells, you'll hear a third panel opening elsewhere. To get there, exit the secret room on the right side. Walk forward to the small, freestanding bookshelf then make a right. At the end of the small, freestanding bookshelf, turn left and continue, keeping the second freestanding bookshelf on Lara's right. At the end of this shelf, turn right and go through the first secret panel. Behind it, there's a third secret panel, which is now open. Warning signs indicate hazardous material ahead, so proceed with caution. As you go up the long ramp, the door to the library closes behind you. At the top, head to the left. A mutant dog rushes out of the darkness. Kill it. Then go up the ramp in the near right corner of the dark area, climb onto the windowsill and get shotgun shells and a small med-pack. Return down the ramp and approach the open safe near the stream of green stuff. Avoid stepping in this. As usual, someone has beaten Lara to the artefact locked inside the safe. Go up the stairs alongside the green stream. Not quite halfway up, go through the opening on the right into an open area with a rocky hill in the middle. Go to the left wall and look for a tiny rectangular opening above a low, square platform with carvings on it. Stand facing the wall and place the Cairn Key in this small opening. When you do, 3 Highlanders appear to beat on poor Lara. After defeating them, return through the break in the wall to the green stream. Continue up the stairs. Another warrior charges down when you near the top. When you step out onto the ledge on the left, the chimes sound for secret #3. Before dropping down into the secret area, take a short detour for some more goodies. Climb over the low wall at the top of the stairs. You'll notice the helicopter landing nearby. Crawl through the low opening on the right side of the ledge. Kill another Highlander and pick up 2 sets of Uzi clips and a large med-pack. Crawl out the way you came and climb back over the low wall toward the green stream. Go out onto the ledge overlooking the secret area. Step down to one of the ledges with the flags. Then safety drop to the ground. Turn around and exit this area through the doorway on the left, where you'll find some Uzi clips lying on the ground. As you enter the misty area ahead, another warrior charges in. A little farther on, you'll meet 2 more warriors. Go to the end of the misty area and climb onto the green ledges below the megalith. Pick up Uzi clips and, on the higher ledge, more Uzi clips. Another pair of Highlanders emerge when you take these items. The exit is a small hole on the other side of the meadow from the megalith. A steam vent marks it. Drop into this hole onto a walkway between two pools of toxic green stuff. Here you'll meet another Highlander. Kill him and climb to the top of the stairs to finish the level.


Level 3: Shakespeare Cliff

Kills: 29 Items: 36, Plus Rocket Launcher, Drill Activator Card, Pump Access Disk Secrets: 3

Kill the gunman lurking behind the crates near the truck. Pick up some flares on top of the yellow crate between the starting position and the truck. Between the truck and the door in the far corner of this area is a movable box (it's blue). Get between the truck and the box and push it once to get the Desert Eagle clips underneath. Also get some MP5 clips on the low cement ledge near the door. Use the switch to open the door and go inside. The tunnel worker in the orange jumpsuit won't attack Lara right away, but he's not exactly friendly. He'll go into the next room to get 2 buddies. Then the three will attack together when Lara comes in. So kill all three. Get the small med-pack near the bank of computers. Find another movable blue crate in the inner room. Push the crate from the side toward the black grating. Pick up the shotgun shells underneath, then pull the crate back to its original position. Doing this opens the black grate so you can get into the room behind. Here you'll find more shotgun shells and, if you climb behind the yellow boxes, secret #1, a large med-pack. Now find the ventilation ducts with horizontal slats to the left of the stairs. Shoot the slats to break them. Climb onto the ledge and wait for the fire traps to cycle off before running past each one. At the top of the stairs is an open hole with a huge drill above. Note the location of the ladder on the inside wall at the far side of the shaft. Go around to that side, position Lara with her chest against the outer wall, then back flip onto the sloped ledge above the ladder. Hold the Action key to grab the edge. Now you need to climb down the ladder as quickly as you can to avoid the descending drill. Climb down only as far as the bottom of the blue area. Below that, there's a fire trap. Climb over to the ledge on the left and dismount. Stand close to the wall after letting go of the ladder to avoid being toasted by another fire trap on the ledge. When the flame abates, move to the other side of the ledge and pick up the MP5 clips. Wait for both drills to go past. Then take a running jump across the shaft to the opposite ledge, near the huge fan. Use the switch on the side of the metal block to open a trapdoor beyond the fan. Climb onto the block and climb into the crawlspace. Quickly crawl to the corner where Lara can stand and kill 2 rats. Use the switch to turn off two of the big fans. Pick up the small med-pack. Then crawl to the end of the passageway, turn around and safety drop to the floor. You will land in a doorway. Instead of going down through it, turn right and climb into the hallway with the round "Euro Chunnel Ltd." sign on the wall. Continue to one of the fans you just turned off. Climb onto the ledge to the right of the fan and shoot the vent with horizontal slats. Enter the passageway behind. Shoot the vent at the end and slide down to get some grenades. Take a standing jump back up the slope to the passageway and return to the fan that's not running. Go past it to the trapdoor you opened earlier. Slide backwards into the opening, grab the edge and drop to the walkway below. Go around the corner behind the support pillar to get some flares. Then safety drop off the side of the ledge that faces the open room, taking care not to drop too near the burning barrel. Cross the room and climb onto the metal ledge above the deep drill shaft. Take a running jump across the shaft to the other side. Climb up onto the uneven cement ledge on the right, then hop back down and kill an orange-suited worker who comes over the ledge. Take his small med-pack. Climb over the ledge and go behind the support pillar. There's a gunman in the hallway above. You can shoot him from below by drawing weapons, jumping to get a lock on him, then holding the Action key while jumping until he falls. Climb into the opening and go up the ramp. Watch out for the fire trap at the top. When the flames abate, run through, then turn around. Take a diagonal standing jump onto the ledge on the right above the fire trap. Notice how the middle vent of the three on the wall has horizontal slats. Shoot this vent and go to the end of the short passageway behind it. Turn around and climb into the passageway above. Continue to a room with a grating floor above where you were earlier. Pick up a small med-pack and shotgun shells. Return down to the ramp near the fire trap. Head to the left. Slide down the ramp onto a small ledge above the train tracks. A brief cut scene shows a large gate opening at the left end of the tracks. Hop down onto the tracks and quickly take a standing jump up the slope to the ledge near the yellow door to avoid the high-speed train. Run down the tracks to the right (i.e., where the gates opened). Stay close to the left side of the tunnel. You'll notice a med-pack on the tracks ahead and hear dramatic music just before another train emerges from the tunnel. When it gets close to Lara, jump over it. Stay as close to the left wall as you can and when you jump press the Left arrow to veer in that direction. This helps Lara not to nick the top of the train. Pick up the large med-pack. Then turn around and walk back along the tunnel to an opening on the right side. Take a standing jump up the slope to get inside. This is secret #2. A Rocket, continue along the tunnel into a cave with an antique steam engine. Behind the engine you'll find the Rocket Launcher. Exit the way you came. Return up the tracks to the yellow door. Use the switch to open it. It's timed to close but the timer isn't particularly fast. Enter and kill an orange-suited worker and another guy with a gun. One drops flares when he dies. You'll also find the QUAD BIKE behind the yellow boxes. Get on the quad bike and ride up the ramps clockwise beginning near the yellow door. Line up a straight run from this room over the tracks to the opposite opening. Use turbo to jump the tracks and speed on across the deep pit lined with toxic goo. At the top of the ramp beyond the pit, cut sharply to the right to avoid going over the edge into another pit. Once you've reached this area, carefully turn the bike so the fenced opening is behind you. Line up a jump across the second pit using the right edge of the uneven cement ledge as a ramp. Use turbo to jump to the opening beyond. Keep on going into the next area. Run over the orange-suited worker on the right side of the train. The machine off to the left of the train engine has a switch to turn it on. This opens one of the portable toilet doors around the corner. To get to the toilets walk along the left side of the train then go left, skirting the rim of the pit. The toilet you just opened contains a mainframe computer. The other two toilets open when you approach. The one on the left contains shotgun shells. The one on the right more shells and a worker who managed to do his trousers up just in time. Now it's time to explore down in the pit. Position the quad bike at the base of the brown ramp on the right side of the wrecked train engine. Jump the bike up onto the train. Don't use turbo, as soon as you land the bike on top of the train, cut to the right and brake to keep from going over the edge. Line up a jump along the top of the train (right side) across the pit to the tunnel opening on the other side. You need a good run-up. When you ride up the uneven ledges into the opening, veer into the tunnel on the right to avoid the flaming barrel on the ledge ahead. Drive down through the tunnel, making a U-turn at the bottom. You'll hear some dramatic music and see a sniper running past the fenced opening. Dismount and walk out onto the jutting ledge to get a small med-pack. Get back on the bike and race along that jutting ledge to jump to the ledge in the opposite corner of the pit. Turn left and drive carefully along the rocky shelf along the rim of the pit. Dismount behind the support beam and shoot 2 snipers-one on a ledge above the sloped rim of the pit, the other in the doorway opposite. Pick up some flares on the ground near where you stopped the bike. Then get back on the bike and continue along the sloped, brown rim of the pit to the doorway in the opposite corner. Once inside this room, dismount and pick up the MP5 clips on the stairs. Kill the 2 rats that sneak up the stairs when you do. And go back out onto the cement ledge to shoot another sniper down below across the pit. Get back on the bike and drive down into the hole next to the stairs. Go into the tunnel. If you go on foot, the barrel ignites and an orange-suited worker appears. If you stay on the quad bike, neither of these things happen. Once you're inside the tunnel near the barrel, you can jump the gap. To jump the gap, start at the slight hump just beyond the barrel. Use turbo to rev the engine then take off. Dismount on the other side and pick up the MP5 clips the sniper dropped and go into the room on the right to get a pair of grenades. Come back to the quad bike and pull the switch on the orange support column to open a gate across the pit. Pick up the Drill Activator Card before jumping across the gap and riding through the gate you just opened. Inside the room beyond the gate is an alcove with a small med-pack. Get it then go through the room with the burning barrel and climb into the opening onto the metal walkway. Kill 2 tunnel workers and take a small med-pack and flares from the bodies. Go to the right end of the tunnel behind the machine. You'll find some Uzi clips behind one of the portable toilets. Take them and climb on top of the toilet to kill the 3 rats that come out. Climb onto the back of the tunnel-boring machine and use the switch to turn it on. This also opens a trapdoor where the metal walkway crosses the machine. Drop in here and use the Drill Activator Card in the white card reader on the wall. Climb out and go to the front of the drill. You'll see it has dug out a section of tunnel, revealing an opening in the ground. Slide down inside this tunnel, kill a couple of rats, and use the switch. Walk out to the gate you just opened and take a running jump to grab the opening on the other side of the pit. Pull up and take the Pump Access Disk. Turn around and take a running jump to grab the ladder on the blue support pillar. Climb to the top. Take a standing jump from the ledge at the top of the ladder to the tunnel on the left. Go through the tunnel to the bottom of the pit with ladder and climb to the stairs above. Exit through the opening at the top of the stairs onto the cement ledge. Climb the blue ladder at the left end of the ledge. Near the top, climb to the right then to the top. Pick up a rocket in a small alcove to the left. Then go cautiously to the right end of the walkway. Just below the end of the walkway is a barrel that ignites when Lara gets close. There's also another orange-suited worker in the room beyond. If you crouch at the end of the walkway, you can easily take him out. Then jump over the burning barrel to the floor. Go to the far right corner of this area and jump to the ledge next to the wrecked train engine. Climb up and go over the engine to the portable toilets. Go into the portable toilet on the left. Use the Pump Access Disk in the computer next to the toilet to turn on the pumps and fill the pit with water. Walk out to the rim of the pit and jump into the water below. Pick up 3 bunches of harpoons from the bottom of the pool. Get air if you need to, then swim through the underwater cave, picking up more harpoons on the way. Surface and climb out onto a narrow walkway. This is secret #3. Walk carefully up the path. Take care not to fall into the lava pits. At the end take a diagonal standing jump to the left to the next ledge. Jump up the slope. To get to the corner ledge slide backwards down the ramp, grab the end of the ramp. While continuing to hold the Action key, pull up and press Jump + Roll to make Lara jump off the ramp, turn in the air and grab the ledge behind her. Pull up and kill the pteranodon that flies in from the left. Take a standing jump to the next ledge and a running jump to the wide ledge beyond that. Take a running jump to the corner ledge and turn around to shoot another pteranodon. Turn back to face the wall and position Lara against it. Jump up and grab the edge of the slope. Traverse to the left above the lava pit not quite to the other end of the wall. When Lara is two squares away from the opposite ledge (just past a small, triangular texture with veins of red in it) pull up and immediately press Jump to back flip onto a ledge behind her. Pick up a large med-pack, turn around and follow the short path toward the center of the cave, where there's another lava pit. Turn right and note another large med-pack on the next ledge. Wait for a pteranodon to fly up from behind the med-pack. Kill it. Then jump over to the med-pack. Turn around and shoot another pternodon that flies in from behind. Then take the med-pack. Jump into the water and swim back to the pool at the bottom of the pit. Go through the passageway above on the left, which is now underwater, to finish the level.


Level 4: Sleeping with the Fishes

Kills: 15 Items: 48, Plus 1st Circuit Bulb, 2nd Circuit Bulb, 1st Mutant Sample, 2nd Mutant Sample, Grenade Launcher, Desert Eagle, Hand of Rathmore Secrets: 3

Pick up the harpoons in the alcove. Exit the room and get some flares in the sunken windowsill on the left. When you pick them up, you see a wide-angle view of the scuba diver in the room beyond. Continue along the hall through the next doorway. On the left there's a door marked "Restricted Area." This doesn't open yet. Follow the hall around to the right then left. On the right side there are windows looking out over the sea bottom. Go through the door on the left. Kill the sniper in the raised hallway across the pool. If you don't get him, he runs off to the left. Go around the pool and use the wheel on the wall. This opens the "Restricted Area" door you saw earlier. If the sniper is still alive, he'll come through that door and around to where you entered the pool room. Before going up to the ledge where the sniper was, jump in the pool and do some exploring. To get oriented, begin treading water facing the doorway where you came in. Swim down and forward, under the yellow overhanging edge of the yellow structure, then up to a rock ledge underneath some netting, where you'll find a bunch of harpoons. Get them and swim back to the pool to breathe. This time start with the entrance behind Lara. Swim down, then to the back left corner of the underwater area. Swim up through the square opening, and pull the lever in one corner to open the white bars. This draws the attention of a scuba diver who comes out from behind the gate to see what's happening. Harpoon him or swim through the connecting tunnel into the room he came from, climb out of the water and shoot him from there. Pick up some goodies around the edge of the opening: harpoons and 3 boxes of shotgun shells. Swim back to the big pool, climb out of the water and exit into the hallway. Go to the right to the "Restricted Area" door you opened earlier. Pick up a small med-pack on the ledge just inside on the left and MP5 clips the far end of the hall above the pool. Near those clips is a short ramp above a pool. Slide into the water, find the lever to the left of the underwater gate and pull it to open the gate. This sets off alarms and alerts 2 scuba divers. If you want to, swim out of the cage, forward and up under the yellow structure. Here you can climb out of the water and shoot the divers from above. Inside this room you'll find harpoons and flares on the low ledges. Press the button in one of the alcoves to open the white gate outside. Find the movable crates (they're green) and slide the one on the left to the left. Go into the alcove behind it to pick up a small med-pack and get a glimpse of a sentry on duty beyond. Jump back in the water and swim down toward the cage where you entered this area. Get air inside the cage then swim up between the cage and the yellow structure. Pick up Uzi clips on the yellow ledge just above the cage door. Turn right and swim along the side of the yellow structure into the square opening beyond. Follow the twisty tunnel and pick up 2 bunches of harpoons on the way. When you come out the other side, a pair of friendly dolphins greet Lara. The camera will show a wide-angle view of this area as the current carries Lara to the left. Don't fight it. Look for a square opening near the corner and swim inside. At the end of the tunnel, go left and climb out onto a ledge. This is secret #1, harpoons and 2 large med-packs. Go back into the water and swim forward to another opening where you can surface. Immediately draw weapons to kill the sentry you saw earlier through the fence. Take his MP5 clips and jump off the ledge into the water, where you'll find more harpoons and a small med-pack. The ledge is too high to reach from the water, but there's a break in the netting at one end, where you can swim back to the pool where you started. Get air in the crate room. Now head for the gate you opened before (using the button in the crate room): Start with the green crates on Lara's right and swim down and straight ahead to the gate. The current sweeps Lara up the tunnel into the next area. Swim straight in from the opening and up inside the yellow funnel to the crane control room where you can get air. Climb out of the pool and pick up a large med-pack and harpoons. If you look out the window, you'll notice a sub descending and releasing 2 scuba divers. Also take note of the two receptacles, blue and yellow, on the other side of the room. You can swim down and draw the divers up to this opening to kill them. Or go head-to-head with your harpoon gun. After killing the divers get air and make a few forays into the pool for goodies, coming back to this opening for air after each one. First face the tunnel where you entered from the previous area. Swim down toward it then up to the top of the yellow structure to find some grenades. There's also a rocket on top of the metal beam the crane is supporting. Take another swim from the control room down toward the crane, then up the rock wall to the right of the crane, where you'll find a small cave. Inside there are flares and the 1st Circuit Bulb. Return to the control room for air. Now swim down to the bottom then up the rock wall, staying to the left of the crane as you pass it. Beyond the crane there's a wide support pillar with round grates and the "Slinc" logo on it. Swim past this toward a rectangular rock pillar. Now head for the ceiling. Just above the rock pillar there's a small, square opening in the cave ceiling surrounded by rusted metal. Swim in here for air and pick up a small med-pack and the 2nd Circuit Bulb. Swim straight down from the small opening toward the globe light below and pick up a bunch of harpoons. If you have enough air, turn left and swim back to the control room. Or swim back up to the small opening first, then return to the crane control room. Place the two Circuit Bulbs in the receptacles on the wall. This opens a small, yellow door on the far side of the underwater cave marked "Restricted Area." Swim down, then up past the crane, following the globe lights on the sea floor toward the door you just opened. When you near the large cave opening on the right, the current sucks Lara down and you see another submersible descending to deliver 2 more scuba divers. If you need air, head for the small opening in the ceiling of the cave. Then confront the divers. When the coast is clear, approach the small door you just opened but instead of going in, swim into the narrow tunnel just to the right of it. This is secret #2. Follow the tunnel to a cave and go straight through the cave to an opening in the floor. Swim along this tunnel to a room where you can surface and pick up 2 bunches of harpoons and a small med-pack. Swim back out to the secret cave and pick up the flares on the bottom. Be careful when getting the shotgun shells nearby. When you take them, a small submarine speeds down the hill, hitting Lara unless she gets out of the way in time. So position Lara facing either wall, pick up the shells and quickly swim forward out of the way. When the sub crashes into the wall, it opens up a way into the cave beyond. Get air first if you need it, then swim inside to find the rusted hull of a sunken submarine. Pick up the Desert Eagle Pistol and 2 sets of clips on top of the sub. There's a small, square hole in the ceiling above the left end of the sub where you can get air. Swim out of the cave, turn right beyond the small yellow sub and follow the tunnel out to the main cave. Make a U-turn to the right and swim through the "Restricted Area" door. The current will carry Lara along to the top of the passageway. Swim up to the yellow opening at the top of the passageway and climb out into a hallway with bars at the far end. About halfway down the hall on the left is a room with a window and a locked door. Draw pistols and make some noise to get the gunman's attention. Kill him when he opens the door. Go in and pick up a small med-pack and flares inside on the right, plus a bunch of harpoons behind the radar screen. Mind the trapdoor in the middle of the floor. Press the button near the door to open the bars at the end of the hallway. Exit the room, turn left and continue into an enclosed walkway overlooking the sea floor. Each of the 2 red wheels on the right opens one of the small doors on the cave wall outside, letting in 2 huge mutant fish. Continue along the hallway and pick up a rocket and a small med-pack-and get a glimpse of another rocket and the goings-on inside the Research Lab. Return to the control room and fall through the trapdoor into the water. Harpoon the big fish. Before going into the Research Lab, make a few pick-ups: From the yellow opening, swim down and through the small square opening back into the underwater cave. Swim in a little ways then turn around. Swim behind the dark bluish rock to the right of the rusted metal support. Here you'll find some harpoons. Get air at the yellow opening or by swimming up the white funnel to the opening below the control room. Swim across the underwater area toward the white enclosed walkway. Swim down between the leftmost support pillar and the one next to it. Here you'll find a narrow tunnel in the rock wall. Swim inside to get the attention of another mutant fish. Draw it out into the open area to harpoon it. After you've dealt with the fish, swim back down the tunnel into a small room with a window looking into the Research Lab. Pick up secret #3, a large med-pack, grenades and the loaded Grenade Launcher. Swim back out to pool and up the white funnel for air. Now head for the small square doors you opened earlier using the wheels in the walkway. Swim through the door on the right and pick up the 1st Mutant Sample. Swim through the left door, get the 2nd Mutant Sample and continue along the tunnel to the lab. Surface and climb out of the water. Follow the ramp down to a room with tanks and cages containing various mutants. Move the 2 green crates. Underneath one you'll find Uzi clips. Behind the other is a machine. Place one of the Mutant Samples into this machine. Place the other sample into the identical machine in the other corner. This causes water to flow into a pool elsewhere. Return up the ramp to the pool where you entered the lab. Go up the stairs, take out the gunman on duty there and grab his small med-pack. Follow the walkway around the edge of the pool. Climb to the upper walkway and pick up the rocket you saw through the fence earlier. Climb up to the small ledge above and get some grenades. Then jump into the pool. Pick up the Hand Of Rathmore Artefact from the low pedestal. This opens the door in the side of the pool. Get air if you need it, then swim through that door into a dolphin tank. Pull the lever on the left wall to open the door at the other end of the tank, letting in a mutant fish. Harpoon it then swim down into the mutant fish's tank. You'll find Uzi clips on the bottom of the tank at the far end. Swim through the opening in the ceiling of the mutant fish's tank. At the top, climb out onto a floating platform. Dive off the edge toward the inflatable boat to get a wonderful view of two planes and end the level.


Level 5: It's a Madhouse!

Kills: 24 Items: 45, Plus Hand of Rathmore, Zoo Key, 1st Aviary Key, 2nd Aviary Key Secrets: 3

Light a flare and explore the ocean floor. Find the green glowing rocks and pick up the Hand of Rathmore, which opens the trap door above the ladder. Get out of the water and go up the stairs. Pick up the flares below the ladder. Then climb up the ladder. Enter the middle archway into another room with table and chairs. Look out the windows and see a gold statue. Pick up the shotgun shells near the window at the bottom of the centre stairs. Near the bottom of the left-hand stairs, face the window and pick up the shotgun shells. A cut scene shows a red car speeding down the street. Looking out the window, you will see the red car do a wheelie. Go back to the first room with the trap door and take the open archway to the patio with four shrubberies. Looking out the window, you can see another statue of Joan of Arc. Continue on until you reach the room with the tiger cage. Pick up the two sets of shotgun shells near the cage with the Siberian tiger. Go up the steps by the C'est le Zoo sign. Bounding down the steps come two escaped tigers intent on killing poor Lara. Leap backwards and shoot. After that little surprise, continue up the stairs. Climb up on the block near one of the gates with the locks and start exploring. Jump over to the higher platform with the large lamp. Explore the transparent wall with greenery until you find the opening (opposite the lamp). Fall down through the transparent wall into the alcove and pick up the Zoo Key. Use the Zoo Key to open the gate near the Planet of the Apes poster. Go down the stairs. Find the large window that overlooks Monkey Island and watch the monkeys playing around with all of the goodies. Pick up the shotgun shells near the window. Now find the switch to open a window near the tiger cage window. Go out into the jungle. After entering the jungle, look for a low crawlspace to the right of the short block. Crawl through the crawlspace and pick up a large med-pack. Return to the short block and pick up the flares. Climb up. Two-Siberian tigers attack in the narrow maze. Kill them both. Drop back into the hole with the block and face the solid wall (without any slants) to get oriented. Climb up into the maze and take the left fork. Go through the maze, always keeping the outside wall on your left side until you reach the jungle cave. Find the tiger's cage and pick up the Uzi clips near the bars. As you are leaving the jungle, look for a vine hanging from the ceiling and a large plant. Run into the transparent wall and go through! Climb up the ledges to the top. Do a jump grab and climb up through another transparent wall with foliage. This is secret #1. Watch a red car drive off and hop down from the block. In the centre of the square is the statue of Joan of Arc! Pull the switch on the base of the statue to open a trap door by a different statue of Joan of Arc. Go down the street and shoot one of those cute little monkeys before it steals a nearby small med-pack from the ledge to the right of the small yellow building. Go past the small yellow building at the end of the street and find the red car that has been appearing from time to time. Look around and pick up a large med-pack near the barred window with another statue of Joan of Arc (#3). Walk out to the ledge above the cliff and pick up 3 sets of MP5 clips, which triggers some mutant monkeys at the bottom of the cliff. Return back up to the first Joan of Arc statue. Climb up on the ledge with the plant and go through the foliage wall. Return to the jungle cave, and then return to the maze. Make your way back to the hole with the block where you first entered the maze by keeping the outside wall on your right side. Drop back in the hole and this time, climb out and take the right fork. Follow the maze keeping the wall on your right side. You will go through a dead end, but just keep going with the wall on your right side until you reach the room with wood walkways and a pool of water beneath the walkways. Enter the room and kill both monkeys. Collect the 1st Aviary Key from one and a small med-pack from the other. Walk to near the bottom of the walkway and look behind the pillar to see a small alcove. From the walkway, take a diagonal long running jump with grab to the alcove and pick up grenades. You will also find grenades in the pool by the low walkway (opposite the alcove near the wall). Near the low walkway side of the pool, swim up by the walkway and find a higher underwater tunnel that leads to a small pool by the windows. Pick up more grenades. Find more grenades in the main underwater tunnel. Get out of the pool by climbing on the grey blocks. Find more grenades in a small pool near a window underneath the high walkway. You will need to get out of the main pool and jump into this pool. To exit, go on the high walkway, and find the opening that leads to another jungle. You are standing on a high ledge above nasty looking spikes. Look up and do a jump grab to the overhead monkey bars. Swing your way across the spikes until you are above the sloped ramp. While on the monkey bars, turn so that you will face forward when sliding down the sloped ramp. Drop down to the sloped ramp, slide, then do a standing jump with grab to the crack in the wall. Shimmy to the right as far as you can, then drop to the space between the spikes. Climb up out of the spikes and enter a long hallway. Go down the long hall and enter the jungle. Shoot the Siberian tiger and follow the lower walkway until it ends. Drop down to the pit at the end of the walkway. Pick up the Uzi clips in the small alcove and use the climbing vines on the wall to return to the walkway. Return to the other side of the jungle by using the higher walkway. Walk until you spot some flares in an alcove. Stand opposite the wall and do a running jump with grab to the alcove and pick up the flares. Jump back to the walkway and return to the long hall. Pull the switch at one end of the long hall to open the gate. Shoot the cute monkey and relieve him of his small med-pack. Go through several rooms until you find a room with yellow walls. Notice the big railings at the end of the big room. Find the ledge to climb, and climb up to the top of the zip line. Grab the zip line by standing next to the handles and using the Action key. Ride down the zip line and don't let go until the bottom. Kill the monkeys and retrieve a small med-pack from each. Go across the bridge and turn right, back up the stairs to where the railings were for secret #2, 2 sets of Desert Eagle Clips a Large med-pack and a small med-pack. Return to the Zip Line and ride it down again. Back on Monkey Island, pick up the two rockets. Find a small pit with water on the island. Load up to full health and face the pit backwards. Watch for the piranha to swim behind the switch-block, immediately leap back into the pit of water and swim down to pick up the 2nd Aviary Key. Immediately, swim up and climb out as the piranhas nibble at you. After you have the key, pull the switch down on the block (on the island), leap back, then jump forward to the top of the block and run over the bridge using the dash key before the timed door closes. In the C'est le Zoo ici room, find the opening opposite the switch, go up the stairs and find yourself back near the gates with the locks. Use the Aviary Key to open the gate with the bird pictures on the wall. Enter the aviary and follow the walkway until you see a large palm tree in a brick courtyard with red awnings. Drop down to the area with the palm tree and look under the awning and find shotgun shells. Take a long running jump to the area with the climbing ladder and climb up the ladder through the leaves and pick up Uzi clips, Desert Eagle clips and Shotgun Shells. Climb back down and take a long running jump to the centre island and climb back onto the walkway. Follow the walkway shooting one buzzard hiding behind a palm tree and shoot another two that decend from above until it ends near some climbing vines. Jump to the small ledge by the climbing vines and pick up a small med-pack. Now jump to the small hill with the tree trunk. Do a jump grab to the climbing vines and climb up to the top. Facing the centre of the aviary, walk as far as you can towards the left ledge under an arch. Take a diagonal long running jump to the ledge under the arch on the left wall. Pick up shotgun shells, and then crawl under the arch. Take a long running jump with grab to the white pillar under the zip line. Shoot the buzzard that attacks. Take a running jump over to the next ledge and continue on this path to find some grenades. Return to the white pillar then use the Action keys to ride down the zip line. Drop down by the second Joan of Arc statue. Use the second Aviary key in the key lock at the base of the statue. This opens a door by the third Joan of Arc statue. Enter the area with the hole in the ground, but do not go down the hole just yet. Near the hole in the ground is a hallway, jump into the hallway and follow it until it ends by the third Joan of Arc statue. This statue has the trap door at its base, which you should have opened with the switch on the Joan of Arc statue #1. Drop into the hole for secret #3. More green goo! Do a simple jump to the next grey ledge and pick up flares. Do another simple jump to the tan ledge and pick up a rocket. Walk to the lowest ledge and pick up one more rocket. Look down through the mists and see a climbing ladder. Take a long running jump with grab to the climbing ladder. Climb down to within one block's width from the bottom. Do a backwards jump and land on a ledge with one more rocket. Take a long running jump with grab to the ladder, climb up above the higher ledge and do a backwards jump back to the high ledge. Go to the other side of the grey ledge and look down. Drop down through the mists to a lower ledge and enter the beach. Kill the mutant monkeys. Pick up the two large med-packs on the glowing squares, which triggers more mutant monkeys. Blast the monkeys to bits. Go back up the ledges above the green goo and climb out by Joan of Arc #3. Follow the hallway back until you reach the hole in the ground. Drop down in the hole and find yourself on more grey ledges above green goo. Carefully walk down the ledges and do a simple jump across the gap to the ledge with the flares. Continue down to the bottom and reach a room with mummies hanging in the air and with a mummy in the pit with a hole in his chest. Do a simple jump to the ledge with the mummy that has no heart and use the Action key to place the Hand of Rathmore in his chest to end the level.


Level 6: Reunion

A rude beginning. A huge boulder is about to flatten you, so do a side jump and land on the ledge as the boulder crashes into the pit. The pit looks familiar, but the entire surroundings have changed, and there is something wrong with the skyline. Look out at the skyline at the end of the green pits. Looks suspiciously like another boulder. Light a flare to see the invisible walkway across the pit. Take a careful diagonal jump to the walkway and immediately do a back flip to get out of the path of the boulder. WALK down the invisible walkway and pick up three sets of grenades. Return to the centre pit. Go to the pit at the other end of the chamber. Walk down the invisible walkway and pick up a rocket and grenades. Climb up on the ledge on the side of the central pit without windows. Pick up flares. Return to the central pit. Enter the high opening between the barred windows. Watch out the barred windows to see a mutant with a hole in his chest bearing a torch. The mutant will run up to the top of the stairs and bring his buddy with him. Jump to the bottom of the stairs and shoot at the mutants as they run up to the top of the stairs. Keep shooting as they come down the stairs and you should be able to kill them before they reach you. Pick up the flares and the MP5 clips at the bottom of the stairs. Pick up a small med-pack in the green goo room with the barred windows on the left side of the stairs then explore the area on the right side of the stairs and pick up a small med-pack in the green goo room with barred windows. Follow the right path to the top and pick up a rocket. Light a flare and look on the left side of the pit for an invisible ledge. Do a simple jump straight ahead to the ledge. Now use your flare to find another ledge ahead and in the centre of the pit. Take a diagonal simple jump to the ledge. Continue jumping from ledge to ledge until you reach the last ledge near the swinging fire lamp. Take a diagonal standing jump with grab over the ramp by the swinging lamp. Slide down. Pick up the flares by the lamp, taking care to walk as close to the ramp as possible to the opposite end of the ledge. Time a standing jump with grab to the nearby ledge to avoid the swinging lamp. Sophia Liegh, your old enemy is back! Now we know the meaning of SLINC - Sophia Leigh Incorporated. Take a simple jump over the gap. Run around the corner to the right and keep going up until you reach a block with a small med-pack. Pick it up and take a diagonal jump to the ledge with the mummy, climb up and pick up another small med-pack and run around the corner to the left. Hide from Sophia behind the block. From behind the safety of the pillar, look up to see an overhead ledge. Climb on the short block and do a jump grab to the higher ledge. This lures Sophia higher, so now might be a good time to drop back down and investigate the lower ledges under Sophia. Make your way back down and take a long running jump to the ledge with the med-pack. Pick up the large med-pack and start exploring. A mutant with a torch appears, shoot him before he clubs you to death. Return across the pit, and make your way up to the top. Climb up and follow the walkway to the back wall and take a left towards the area with the window to the sky. Approaching the large med-pack triggers a mutant with his torch. Kill him then pick up the large med-pack. Follow the walkway keeping the wall on your left side. Go across the walkway along the wall and fall into a small pit with a pool of water. Do standing jump with grab to the room with the switch. Shoot the mutant with his torch. Approach the switch by staying close to the back wall. Another monster boulder falls down. Don't pull the switch just yet, keep making your way around the chamber and take a simple jump to the left. Enter a dark area with a small pit. Shoot the mutant man. The opening in the pit simply leads back to the bottom, so go back up and return to the switch and find the large med-pack by the switch near the edge of the pit. Flip the switch and run through the open door. Four more mutants attack. Dispatch them and find flares and a small med-pack at the back of the switch room. Go through the opening at the back of the switch room and find a swinging lamp with fire. Pull the switch next to the ladder to open the door then climb up the ladder. Sophia has no intention of being left behind, and you can hear her climb up to the other side. Jump to the ledge by the pit and Sophia will finish her climb to the Hand of Rathmore as a large sphere descends. Find a large med-pack on a high ledge by the pit. You may want to pick this up when Sophia is distracted by the descending sphere. Drop down to the grates over the pit and pick up a rocket in the corner. Take a simple jump from the ladder side of the pit to the walkway. Turn back and face the ladder side of the pit and spot a small ledge with two rockets near the outside wall. Do a simple jump and pick up the rockets while Sophia blasts away. Jump back to the walkway. Run across the pit to Sophia's side and take a long running jump to the ledge near the walkway. Do exactly the same for the other walkway at the other end of the room. Pick up a small pack-pack and a rocket on the ledge near the walkways. Load up the rocket launcher and take a shot at Sophia. It worked. Lara gets a charge and Sophia is destroyed. Pick up the Hand of Rathmore, which opens a door between the two windows to the sky. If you have not picked up all of the goodies, then finish your pick-ups. To exit, find the opening between the two small windows to the night sky on Sophia's side of the pit and slide down the ramp. Drop down a vertical shaft into a small pool of water with mummies hanging overhead. Back on the beach Lara's ride arrives, run over to the balloon to finish the game.
